thinking about cancelling my cruise

Yes, illness of you or a close relative, and redundancy maybe covered in your insurance policy? 'JUST DON'T FANCY IT' = loss of deposit!

Best to change to another cruise destination/ship/date and pay the £100 admin charge if it's ' just don't fancy it ' ?;)

You can move the deposit on if the new cruise costs at least as much as the original one and is within one year of the original cruise departure date. Some time ago there was no admin charge, now it is £100.

Also, one could move between Carnival Corporation companies, eg P&O to Cunard. Sometime ago this practice was withdrawn. Now I believe it is back on again since with the cancellation of Azura's 2013 World Cruise passengers were offered a move to Cunard.

Does anyone know whether moving a deposit from P&O to Cunard for cruises other than the Azura example is possible, please?

We changed our October 2011 cruise and had to pay the £100 admin fee. Also could only change to another P&O cruise but this was last year. It would be useful if it could be moved to other cruise lines in the group.
