A couple of years ago I found a downloadable version of QE2's horn and made it the ring tone on my wife's mobile phone.

 

Unfortunately, the mobile phone hadn't the same resonance, and it sounded more like someone pulling someone's finger.

 

We took it back off.

I still have the QE2 horn as my ring tone. It is a bit pathetic, and takes everyone at work by surprise when it suddenly goes off in a meeting when I have forgotten to put my phone on stun, but I love it!:)

Not my ringtone, but I have a shortcut to the file on my desktop. I just have to make sure the speaker volume isn't too high. My cat doesn't like loud sounds.

For those with an iPhone, here are directions for getting this ringtone to work on your phone. There are a few extra steps, at least when I installed it last year on my phone. I have gotten some interesting comments at work too when I have forgotten to put the phone in silent mode! When it goes off, it still puts a smile on my face!
