Another Tipping Question.....Sorry!

I did a search but couldn't find an answer. I know you can request to add your gratuities to your sea pass account. In the past with RCCL you could only do this if you tipped the recommended amount (you couldn't adjust up or down). Does anyone know if this is still the case?

 

We are trying to figure out how much cash to bring. I would love to just add the tips on our sea pass account but want the flexibility in the unlikely event that we are disappointed with someone.

 

Please don't flame, we had a really bad experience a few years back with our cabin stewardess on a different line. She was awful. After 4 days we finally called the head of housekeeping. Next thing we knew, she was knocking on our door crying that she was in trouble because of us and was going to be sent home.

Yes, you can have your tips automatically added to your account. If you wish to adjust (up or down) you can do that through the front desk.

You will have the flexibilty to change them, if any issues aren't resolved.
