Ship time question Navigator of seas

Has anyone gotten off navigator lately that goes to Cozumel. We are trying to figure out if the captain leaves the ship on ship time or goes to local time. It will be 2 hour difference when we go next week which means we are leaving at 2:00 pm local time and arriving at 5:00 am local time. Way before local stores are open. We are trying to figure out what we can do realistically. Iknow captains can decide, so anyone who has been off the ship recently would be helpful.

The time change is up to the captain,....sometimes, they change...sometimes they don't!

 

5am seems a silly time to arrive in a port....it's even to early to head to a beach!
