What ship was that in that movie?

We've been watching the 1974 movie "Juggernaut". It appears that a good portion of this film have been done on a real ship as opposed to movie sets. Does anyone know what ship was used? Movie starred, Richard Harris, Omar Shariff, Anthony Hopkins in small part too! Fun movie!

I believe that it was the German-Atlantic Lines Hamburg that was eventually sold to a Russian shipping company and sailed as the Maxim Gorky. At the time the movie was made, it may already have been sailing as the Maxim Gorky. If I am mistaken, I am sure Host Doug will kindly correct me.

There's an old thread on this board on "Ocean Liners in Movies"; one of the posts indicates that at the time Juggernaut was released, the ship was the Hamburg and later the Maxim Gorky.
