stubbornoldowl Posted March 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Has anyone stayed at the Best Western Dam Square in Amsterdam? Any comments would be appreciated. I understand that it is a little difficult to find but the price seems pretty reasonable including breakfast. I'm wondering how easy it is to get from the hotel to the Central Station - we have to catch an early morning train. Are the rooms clean and how is the breakfast? Thanks. Rare LHT28 Posted March 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2012 You may also want to ask on the amsterdam forum at Trip advisor ..there are locals that can give you more details http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g188590-i60-Amsterdam_Noord_Holland.html It seems to get some good reviews http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g188590-d230123-Reviews-BEST_WESTERN_Dam_Square_Inn-Amsterdam_Noord_Holland.html
Ine Posted March 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2012 The hotel is in a sidestreet between Damrak and Nieuwezijdsvoorburgwal, not on Damsquare. From both those street frequent trams go to Centraal Station, will be just 1 or 2 stops. . It also is walkable in about 5-10 minutes. Donotknow anything about the hotel itself.
