Best view of Bay in Miami?? Port?

Hello,

We are looking to stay in a hotel the night before our cruise (Carnival Liberty 9-8-2012!!) and I would LOVE to find out what you all think is the best hotel for views of the bay and possibly the cruise ships coming into Miami...I think maybe the Doubletree has this? If anyone has any thoughts or favorite rooms/hotels they have stayed in, I would really really appreciate it! This is our first "real" vacation since our honeymoon...10 years ago!

If you get a high room on the correct side of the Biscayne Bay marriott you'll have a nice view...

Doubletree & Marriott Biscayne Bay plus the Holiday Inn POM and the IC -- only some rooms in all of these hotels offer the view. Good luck! :)

I don't know how it compares to other hotels but the view of the bay and port from the Intercontonental was fantastic (ask for the water view)...plus that it is within a few minutes walk to Bayside...

Hilton is good. Intercontinental, high up, port facing room is the best IMO.
