Rare LHT28 Posted March 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2012 Tour share offers should be posted in the ROLL CALL for the specific cruise http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=420%22 Look for the ship then the sailing date Post away
Rare LHT28 Posted March 16, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2012 It appears there are several ROLL CALLs for this cruise http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1562412 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1538424 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1588629 People should check for other roll call threads before starting a new one but sadly they do not:rolleyes: You can change the page default setting at the bottom of the page or in your USER CP to show posts older than 30 days which is the default This is where some of the other roll Calls threads disappear to
Mura Posted March 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2012 I don't know, Lyn, that people really don't check before starting a roll call. I'm sure that SOME don't. But I've started 2-3, and I always go through the lists looking ... but on at least one occasion I missed it. Part of the problem is that people label them differently. I'm guessing that the best way (or should I say MY preferred way) is to give the date and then the title. We assume we already know the ship. But people create all sorts of titles and it can be easy to miss. Our cruise last October had two different threads but it turned out to be easy to merge them. Mura I agree I prefer to write the month then there is no confusions with the dates as well It is an international forum & different countries write the date differently I prefer Apr 8,2012 rather than 4/8/12 or 8/4/12 which can be confusing but that is just me :D
