Booking cabin with Casino Discount--can you use the cash for anything

We booked a room under the Casino Discount which gave us a discounted room rate and cash in our account. There are 4 in our room and we each got different amounts, one person even zeio. They told me I could take the money and use it for anything, such as pictures or shore excursions. I think they said it would go on Sigh and Sail card. Does anyone know for sure if it will go on our Sign and Sail card. If so, we could even use it for gratuities? If we truly can use it for anything, then we could just reimburse each to even it out.

When the Casino opens the ones getting cash just go to the cashier in the casino and they will look up your amount and you sign a slip and they hand you the cash
