Anne Frank house Tickets - how soon

We are taking a river cruise out of Amsterdam the first of June. How soon in advance do you recommend we buy tickets to tour the Anne Frank House? Thanks

For me, I would do it now. We are also going and I saw a message to my TA from the tour company that says they have to do it right away as the best times get sold out. That's my opinion only

I agree that you should go ahead and get them now. We got ours about this far in advance and found that they go fast!

If you know you're going~ why waste time? I'd just go online and buy/print tickets as soon as you know your schedule. My daughter and I plan to go in July. I haven't bought our tickets yet- still working on the big ticket items. But do plan to buy a couple months in advance. We also plan to take the train to Haarlem and see the Corrie Ten Boom House. Have the tissues handy!

We bought tickets for the expanded (ie: 30 min) program plus museum entrance. It was quite interesting, as it tied the timelines of the Frank family into what was happening in relation to the political climate in Europe at the time. The website is: http://www.annefrank.org

 

There are lots of times already sold out - especially if you want the lecture as well as admission to the museum. This site will tell you what is still left.

I agree with previous posters...buy now if your itinerary is set. :) The AFH is an extremely popular venue and desirable times sell out quickly.

I purchased ours online about 4 months in advance. The lines were very long so I was very pleased when we were able to bypass them all.
