Westerdam easter Cruise

We are cruising out on the Westerdam this coming Sunday, anyone ever been with kids. Just curious if they may have the Easter Bunny and an Easter Egg hunt or something? We have been on Carnival for Easter and they usually do this.

I know they will have church services--I know the clergy member on this trip!

 

When I was on the Westerdam for Easter, I don't remember that stuff in the schedule. However, they might do that kind of thing through Club HAL; which means the rest of us may not even see/hear about it.

W have been on a couple of ships during Easter.

 

The activities were done through Club HAL for those children who choose to go there on a regular basis.

 

The ships had a few Easter decorations -- but nothing special was done outsde Club HAL.

Easter is not observed by all faiths.

 

So, the celebration is somewhat toned down.

I'm sure there will be church services on Easter morning...I read about a sunrise service on board on Sunday that would be wonderful to attend if one is on board on Easter morning.

We've sailed HAL ships before on Easter and they always had an Easter Bunny and did an egg hunt. The kids (and adults watching :) ) had a great time.

 

Clear as can be I remember seeing a big tall guy dressed as Easter Bunny.

 

I remember one year the Chefs made a huge chocolate display of a big Easter Bunny and all sorts of smaller things around it. It served as decoration for a few days and then Easter they broke up the chocolate and everyone was welcome to take some chocolate. It was terrific fun.

We are staying at the Hyatt Place in FLL and are driving to Boca to attend an Easter service being held in FAU stadium at 830 Sunday morning. Should still give us plenty of time to get back to FLL in time to board early. website is http://www.calvaryftl.org/easter12
