Anyone ever win big at the tables?

I was on the Miracle on the New Years Eve cruise which i was looking forward to with great expectations and i was going to post back with my report But NOT having the winning cruise i hoped for i never posted bout it.. Well, my cruise was not what i had hoped for. There was only two sessions when i came out with a deecent stack of cash. BUT, when i was off on other duties with the dw, i came back to the casino at the end of the most fantastic roll i have ever seen on a ship. One player cashed out a little over ten thousand dollars while the other players cashed multiple amounts ranging into the thousands.Just was not at the right place at the right time. Oh well. I did hit four aces with a 2,3,or 4 on the video slots twice. Once on the ship and once in Aruba. All in all it was a great "cruise" but not the winning session i had hoped for. Cruisin is always great. Hope to do better this next VIP gambling cruise on the Liberty in a couple of weeks.

Just happened to see this - I was actually on that New Years Miracle Cruise too. I might even have seen you in the casino since I was there at night with my father, watching him play. He actually got a few lucky hands at blackjack and 3 card. Can't remember how much he won, but I do remember a straight flush at one point.

Swaying of the ship?????

Jam can you get me some of that stuff you were smoking.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO RANTHEMAN: My sentiments exactly. Roulette is a game you play when you've been out in the dessert in Las Vegas too long. The odds are terrible.

Texas Station and Sam's Town have GREAT buffets?? Since when??? They are mediocre at best. Green Valley Ranch where with a Boarding pass card you pay $5.99 for breakfast $8.99 for Lunch and I think $12.99 for dinner is a GREAT deal. $5 and $10 minimums on the table games.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO MrCo9: Yes they do. The locals must agree with me since any time I went to eat there the lines were long, but, they did move quickly. I wasn't on a line for more than an hour like I was when at the Mirage or Cesar's Palace and the food tasted better plus it cost a lot less. You do have to admit that the food on Las Vegas Blvd is overpriced.

lol, it's okay whether you believe me or not, truly could care less. Go play your penny slots and leave the playing to the big boys.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Jam81999:Don't play penny slots. In fact, the only slot game that is good to play are the poker machines. However, they aren't a slot machine. It depends more on the player's knowledge of poker and what her chooses to hold, stand, or fold.

Jam..sorry if I offended you.

I have seen a lot of hairbrain schemes to beat the casino but yours takes the cake.:D

lol, hair brain schemes? lmao, but I'm sure you'll be one of the first ones trying it. Best of luck trying to figure out that math. See, staying in school can actually be good for you :D

Btw. ever heard of the Pelayo Family? I'm sure you probably haven't. Maybe you should do some research on it and you might be surprised by what you'll find. Then after ingesting that crow that you just ate, best of luck figuring out how to get it to work accurately. I wish I could help but I've been too busy smoking things that just keeps me out of my mind. lol

Best of luck figuring it out. Remember, not everyone can do it so don't be disappointed if you can't. Guess this is where it pays to pay attention in class. ;)

I am familiar with Pelayo however I am not seeing how that applies, he was using massive data sets to determine small variations in the wheel. Unless you spend a ton of time on a specific ship I doubt you could get the amount of data that he had. I don't see how ship motion plays into the equation, the concept should still be the same, the wheel is not perfect and therefore certain numbers are more likely to occur.

Actually jam,I did some research on Pelayo. His system was based on imperfections on a PARTICULAR wheel and was based upon thousands of data points.

This system was not transferable to roulette wheels in general and certainly had nothing to do with the swaying of a boat.

Further more, since his system was identified, casinos themselves now monitor their wheels for patterns that would indicate that the results were not completely random.

I am happy:D:D that you have had such great luck(I certainly haven't) but it was luck and luck alone.

Cheers:p
