I completed ours the day I booked 415 days prior to the cruise.... got me in the mood :D. You can always updated it later if things change.

I always complete stuff as soon as I possibly can. Im currently waiting to be able to do my flight check in 24 hours in advance. I do my flight pretty much the minute they let me! :p

The sooner the better...in case something is in error or needed. You can't do it too soon. Be sure to enter the passengers info correctly. Some of this is eventually used to cross check with the passengers and their passports when used by TSA.

Great tip. It was when I was entering my passport info I realized it was going to expire shortly before the cruise. So doing it early I had plenty of time to get it renewed - no stress added.
