I am on QE. We just left Dubai. Took these pictures today.

good photos. Did you get close enough to identify the Type 45 destroyer berthed ahead of QE2. I take it's HMS Daring.

8,100 tons full load displacement? That's very big for a destroyer! :D

 

The other ole tub looks quite nice too.

Why does QE2 look different to me? She looks as though she's grown fatter in her old age. Did something change? Was she not of a more sleek physique before? Or perhaps it's the angle...

Ole tub??? That's no way to speak of maritime royalty. She looks like she's had a fresh coat of paint and ready to go. if only she were...
