large ocean view stateroom on navigator

Anyone been in these rooms, we have been offered 8214,8514,9218 and 9518. I am concerned a) distance to facilities and b) any noise from engines, also is it worse for motion sickness and any other problems with these rooms.

There is no "engine noise" on any deck...the engines are decks below even the crew decks....no worries about that!

 

However, all of those cabins are very far forward....the closer to the ends of the ship, the more motion can possibly be felt. If it's calm, it won't really make a difference, but should it be rough, the ends do perceive more motion than the center of the ship.

 

If you're prone to motion sickness, bring Bonine or some other preventative

 

If you can get something more midship, then do. If you can't, there's nothing at all wrong with the cabins that are available....just that the location IS quite forward.

to feel less motion you want to go lower.

 

the lower you go the less you will feel the motion.

 

but if you do hit rough waters everyone will feel some motion- some more then others.

 

like CB mentioned. the front will get the most motion.

the higher you go the more you will sway
