QM2 dining on embarkation and port days

Are there any venues open on embarkation day to grab a snack before our late dinner seating on QM2 from NYC.

Also are the dining rooms open on port days for lunch should we decide to stay on the ship?

Thank you in advance for any information.

The Britannia Restaurant is normally closed on embarkation day, but last time I was on QM2 (August) I boarded in Southampton but the crossing started in Hamburg so the hours should be typical of port days:

Lunch in Britannia was 12:30-2:30 (but not open on a pure embarkation day).

Kings Court (lido) was open from 11:30 until shortly before the emergency drill.

If you are in the Grills, they will BE open. They have been for us. If you're in a standard cabin, then you need to go to King's Court. The food there & in Lido(QV/QE)is actually pretty good. (actually quite good on our last QV trip)The restaurants are always open on port days, as a lot of people do stay on board or only take short trips ashore.
