time of year question

I'm going on a cruise to Alaska, and I am aboard in late August. Is this a time of year when many family's travel to Alaska?

 

I have no problem with kids, I actually like them. Just seeing if I am to expect many children running around.

Depends on how late in August. But Alaska never has as many kids as the Caribbean. EM

Families take cruises together when they can get the time off. Kids are out of school for most of August. However, as stated, Alaska is not the first destination of choice for kids. But yes - you will see families onboard.

I figured so.. My other cruises had plenty of kids. Wasn't sure about this time of year. Thanks for the comments
