Radio,

Thanks for all the info and the pictures. Is there anywhere on the Enchantment (indoor) where you can smoke a cigar during the day? Do they section off an area in the Viking Crown Lounge?

Thanks,

Thanks,

No indoor cigar smoking on the Enchantment. Outdoor, covered area around the pool. Forget which side. There is smoking in the casino when it is open, but I don't think they allow cigar smoking in there. I could be wrong though. We were just on her in April and my husband puffs on a cigar and had to go outside to do it. Hope this helps.

What about the main deck? Is one side smoking the other nonsmoking? Thanks

Yes, I forgot to mention that. On the Promenade deck. I can't remember which side. I think starboard. But, I still am not sure they allow cigar smoking there either. My husband only went to that one spot on the Pool deck.

I was on the Enchantment last week, and can confirm that the smoking is the starboard side, and I occasionally saw cigar smokers out there.

(the non-smoking "Island Bar" is on the port side)

Hello everyone. . . Welcome to Day 4 of “LIVE” from Enchantment of the Seas.

I had a beautiful day in Bermuda today. The weather was perfect with sunny skies, and no rain again today.

I left the Ship today at about 9AM and walked over to Oleanders Scooter Rental over in the Dockyard. MedicKen rented one too, as we set out to see a few of the sights in Bermuda.

We first stopped at Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse. This is an immense building, that was constructed by steel. It is a little tough to get to the top (185 steps), but the view is worth it. . .You can see many parts of Bermuda from the top as well as the ships that are in Kings Wharf. The cost to climb it is very inexpensive at only $2.50

We also went over to Horseshoe Bay Beach where the water was beautiful. . . There were a few people swimming, but many more lying on the beach getting some sun. I walked up to the top of a few of the cliffs. The views there wonderful, and I wish I could have stayed there all day.

I decided to go over to Flatts village and visit the Bermuda National Aquarium (and Zoo). They seem to add new tanks and new attractions at every visit. This is a very lovely area of Bermuda, and I try to go there with each visit.

Exploring Bermuda is something I love to do. There always seems to be something different, and around every turn I want to stop. . .get out my camera and take a few pics.

Here are some of the pics I took today. I took several hundred, but will only post a few today. There will be many more posted when I return.

Note to Radio<<< there are NO Starbucks ANYWHERE in Bermuda-not in a restaurant, a coffee shop, a store not even the airport! Be sure to pack PLENTY of VIA packets.

Thanks for the nice comments. . .and Thanks for tuning in !

We love coffee! One great place is a coffee shop on the second floor of one of the department stores on the main street across from the water.I has always been called the "Birdcage". It was there two years ago in the only remaining department store

Gourmet Coffee & Refreshments available at The Birdcage Cafe

Located in the Brown & Co.Store

Address: 3 Reid Street 35 Front Street

City: Hamilton

Country: Bermuda

Also, our favorite! A short walk uphill but worth it!

Rock Island Coffee Bermuda

48 Reid Street, Hamilton City, Bermuda

It is a block away from the water front and next to iStore.

Phone: 441/292-9437 or 296-5241

Radio, if you have time try these!

Hi Radio. Always love your "live" postings.

Couple of questions.

Where do you meet the pre-arranged taxi tours?

Will you be posting the cruise compass. I think this is the first year of 6 nighters so I would really love to see one.

Thanks for doing all you do!

My parents honeymooned in Bermuda almost 50 yrs ago. They stayed in the Elbow Beach area & until your pictures, really haven't seen anyone mention it. Is that Beach Club private or are you able to get a day pass. How would the beach compare to Horseshoe Bay? Your pictures are beautiful. Can't wait till we visit on Explorer Sept 2.
