What to do?

I am cruising on Carnival Liberty in August and we arrive in Cozumel at 7:00 AM. This is awfully early. What does one do that early in port? Will stores be open? It's too early for the beach isn't it?

Sleep in, enjoy breakfast in the MDR, and then wander off the ship when you are ready; remeber, you are on vacation! ;) Most of the beach clubs will not open until 9:00 or so. Good luck! :)

You won't be off the ship the dot of when it is expected to arrive. Have a leisurely breakfast and wander ashore when you're ready.

I don't think you'll find too many stores open at 7 - 7:30 but you might at 8:30.

If you are docking at Puerta Maya pier everything will be open when you get there. We arrived very early and they were waiting for us-and our money:D
