Approx Taxi Costs - TPA to Port and Back

I'm looking for appoximate Taxi costs. TPA to Port and Port to TPA?

 

Our hotel would be the Marriott a couple of blocks from port and our flight would get in around 1:30pm. And after the cruise our flight would leave at 12pm.

 

I'm trying to weigh the costs of MCO vs. TPA...

From either TPA to Port or Port to TPA is a flat rate fare of $25+tip - ignore the meter. Price is for the cab, not per person - same fare for 1 or up to 4 passengers in the same cab.

 

Going from TPA to your hotel you are on the meter, but the fare should be close to $25 unless you run into traffic (or the driver takes you on the scenic tour :(). You can either walk from your hotel to the port or take a cab for under $10.

Is a noon flight time after the cruise cutting it close. The ship will be in port at 8am.

Noon is good - taxi from the port to TPA takes about 15 minutes. Good luck! :)
