main dining room

Recommended Posts

Do they still have breakfast in the main dining room every morning? And do they still have

lunch there on sea days?

Breakfast for sure, I never ate lunch in the mdr so I can't speak to that.

Loved my eggs Benedict though every morning :)

Yes and yes. We find breakfast to just be pretty much the same as the buffett except on a plate and served to you. But lunch is great, make a point to do an MDR lunch at least once or twice during a week.

I only done it two times but I did find it more relaxing. Buffet you have to get a good table or it can sometimes feel like you are eating in a busy airport..

It depends on when you are sailing and on which ship. They are implementing the Comedy Punchliner Brunch. I know it is already on the Miracle.

I saw this on another thread for when it is starting on some of the other ships:

Carnival Breeze (June 2012), Carnival Magic (Jul 22, 2012), Carnival Liberty (Aug 11, 2012), Carnival Dream (Sept 22, 2012), Carnival Conquest (Oct 28, 2012), Carnival Glory (Nov. 2012), Carnival Splendor (2012), Carnival Sunshine (April 2013)

Here is a link to the menu:
