angel_05_92001 Posted May 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Do they still have breakfast in the main dining room every morning? And do they still have lunch there on sea days?
Dave994 Posted May 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Do they still have breakfast in the main dining room every morning? And do they still havelunch there on sea days? Breakfast for sure, I never ate lunch in the mdr so I can't speak to that. Loved my eggs Benedict though every morning :)
marshhawk Posted May 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Yes and yes. Second sea day offers BBQ ribs-YUM!
elcuchio24 Posted May 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Yes and yes. We find breakfast to just be pretty much the same as the buffett except on a plate and served to you. But lunch is great, make a point to do an MDR lunch at least once or twice during a week.
Georgiagolfer Posted May 21, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2012 As marshhawk said yes on lunch and breakfast. Lunch is particularly nice on sea days, because there are no crowds and no lines, like there at the buffets.
CRUISE4JANE Posted May 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2012 I am kinda hoping to try a sea day on ship, but...................I don't know if I can with family & friends I am going with. It does sound nice. :) I am not that keen on 1 of the ports.

Buffet you have to get a good table or it can sometimes feel like you are eating in a busy airport..
luv2trvlnow Posted May 22, 2012 #8 Share Posted May 22, 2012 It depends on when you are sailing and on which ship. They are implementing the Comedy Punchliner Brunch. I know it is already on the Miracle. I saw this on another thread for when it is starting on some of the other ships: Carnival Breeze (June 2012), Carnival Magic (Jul 22, 2012), Carnival Liberty (Aug 11, 2012), Carnival Dream (Sept 22, 2012), Carnival Conquest (Oct 28, 2012), Carnival Glory (Nov. 2012), Carnival Splendor (2012), Carnival Sunshine (April 2013) Here is a link to the menu: http://www.carnival.com/onboard/crui...chMenupdf.ashx Sharon
