Ice Skating

Stupid question--how do they determine "long pants"? Capris can hit many women just above the ankle..and that would seem to be OK (admittedly, I have never ice skated onboard). Just wondering if I have to have pants below the ankles as I was going to wear "long capris" as well. Now it sounds like that wouldn't be OK?

I think long capris would be okay. JMHO. As long as the bottom of the capris meets the top of the skates (which is a good 2- 3 inches above the ankle) and no skin is exposed.
