There are hundreds of independent booking option in Juneau and Skagway.

In Skagway, we've booked with Chilkoot to do the White Pass Railway. We're taking the train up and the bus back.

 

In Juneau, we're getting off the ship at Tracy Arm and doing a catamaran excursion to Tracy Arm that will end in Juneau to meet back up with our ship. We're also planning on doing the Mt Roberts Tram at some point that day.

Last year we took the Yukon Jeep Excursion through the ship in Skagway. However, after doing some research on that type of trip, we are looking at renting through the Green Jeep company privately on our next cruise. Then we can spend as much time at each stopping point we want.
