Should we wait an buy onboard ?

Recommended Posts

I have a question that I hope that my fellow cruise addicts can help with.

We will be travelling later this summer and I have just been checking the Wine Packages. Last year we purchased in advance the Platinum 10 bottle package and it cost 228.17 Euros. This year as a comparision the same package is costing 270.08 Euros.

My questions are the following :-

Have RCI increased the package price this year ?

Is the difference down to the weakening euro, and how often do RCI update their prices for ad ons excursions, beverage packages, speciality dining and Spa options to take into account currency fluctations ?

If the euro continues to slide, could this cost me more if I wait till we are on board, and similarily if the euro improves and I have booked the package, can I cancel and rebook ?

Thanks as always for your inputs and experiences on this topic.
