What is a "Meta-Category?"

"Diamond member can choose a one-time redemption of a Free meta-category upgrade OR free 3rd, 4th, 5th guest in same cabin as member"

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a cross-category upgrade - from inside to ov or ov to balcony - I ay not be correct, but thinking this is what they mean based on other uses of the term.
