Mulege Posted June 17, 2012 #76 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Of the other lines I have been on, I would rate the room service menus 1) Tie between princess and royal (royal requires a 3.95ish fee between midnight and 5am, but it includes the gratuity) 2) Carnival 3) Norwegian 4) Holland (only cuz I have never tried it) Celebrity gives you a full hot breakfast (omelettes, pancakes, waffles, etc.) and for lunch and dinner you can order off the MDR menu. Plus they have the regular RS menu.
Sargent_Schultz Posted June 17, 2012 #77 Share Posted June 17, 2012 This may sound like a silly question, but we like a couple cups of coffee each in the morning. Is the number ordered for cups or carafes? Thanks! They bring a carafe.
kyrisong1 Posted June 17, 2012 #78 Share Posted June 17, 2012 They still have the flan in the MDR at lunch though, because I had it last cruise, it was delicious!!! But I don't remember which day it was they had it :o Carole

The RS menu is decent to begin with, and then you can order anything from the B, L & D MDR menu, during the times that the MDR is open for these meals. LandlockedCruiser01 Posted June 17, 2012 #81 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Does Carnival serve Room Service on debarkation Day? I'm new to Carnival. Princess or RCCL doesn't. Yes, they do. Continental breakfast is available for sure; it's what I ordered. Full room service menu may be available as well, but I didn't try it.
Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted June 17, 2012 #82 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Carnival needs to get with the program and AT LEAST offer an expanded room service menu (INCLUDING FULL BREAKFAST) to suite guests. There, I said if for the (probably) 50th time!!! Tom

crusinpsychRN Posted June 17, 2012 #84 Share Posted June 17, 2012 The menu will now be included in the papers you get the first day. I threw most of them out including the menu and had to get another. Order 2 sandwiches and then combine the meat into one. Salads are really fresh. I'm learning:( but I may try for oatmeal anyway. Hard boiled eggs I can snag off the Lido and keep in my room frig for some protein to add to a continental rs breakfast another day. It's hard to have a bad day on a cruise ship!! Just gotta make some adjustments. ;) m--

When she woke up later and was hungry she order the PB&J - with some milk and probably some cookies. But she was SHOCKED when it arrived toasted. LOL...still laugh about it everytime it comes up!! ;) :D

H82seaUgo Posted June 17, 2012 #92 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Just about time to board the Legend.....Yippy!!! Just wondering about the room service menu. Has it taken lots of cuts recently?? How is the selection for breakfast, lunch, and snacks? What's your favorite thing to order from room service??? Thanks! 21 ccl cruises, and i've yet to use room service. if they cut it out completely, it would not effect me. or make it a charge for service. that should help them out a bit. H82seaUgo Posted June 17, 2012 #94 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Ssh. They read these forums. :D of course they read these forums. it's a plethora of free marketting information. and every time they cut back something, they can see people writing, "that's ok", or "that's good" or "this change won't affect me". and they get giddy with delight. and then move on to the next cutback. and then there was the showstopper - vifp. that's not working too well into their plan. Sugar67 Posted June 18, 2012 #98 Share Posted June 18, 2012 I used to enjoy the roast beef and Brie sandwich, but they changed it to cheddar and that's not as good. This makes me sad :(. It was always my favorite
