Tom2 Posted June 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2012 Where do you find frames for the 6x8 photos sold by shutters? Such an odd, non standard size and shutters won't resize them to 8x10's.

I found 6 x 8 frames at a craft store called A.C. Moore in Central NJ. They are wooden "floater" frames, but the 6 x 8 fits perfectly. I found 50% off coupons on their website, joined their loyality program, and I get coupons every week. They were $7.99 before the coupon. I looked all over before I found these 6 x 8 frames. I try to keep an eye out for this size, since it's so difficult to find. I have found them at Wal-Mart and Michael's craft supply. :)
ducklite Posted June 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2012 I always thought Disney totally missed the mark by not selling this size frame even though they must sell a million photos of this size every year.

Shutters doesn't reprint at a different size than the original photo was. :( :)
true45 Posted June 27, 2012 #7 Share Posted June 27, 2012 I buy an 8X10 and place the 6X8 on the mat and secure it with tape (either double-sided or I make a little loop) in the corners. The piece of paper under the glass looks like the picture is matted even though it is only a piece of paper. Sets the picture off in a nice way.
