Can I change Dining time once on board?

Cruising July 15th on the Fantasy and was assigned late dining and was wondering if it could be change to anytime once on board?

If you go to the Maitre De right away he/she may be able to change it for you. If you ask when you are checking in, they may be able to there too. But if they tell you to just wait until supper that night to try change it, do it right away, if you go to the dining rooms you should be able to ask around for him.

Might be a silly question, but have you called to try change it?

The only way is to see the maitre d' about 1 pm after you board, no one else can change it... he will have a time set, but its usually about 1 pm

 

if you wait until dinnner .. its too late.

 

get there as soon after he opens as you can

 

PS he will hold court in the middle dining room, lower level almost always. Just show up about that time and you should be ok.

We were actually able to change it like the second or third day, we just talked to the Maitre D' and he had it changed for the next day.

We had someone at our table ask after the first night and they were told no, its too late.

 

If you are platinum, they will change it but not usually otherwise.. you got lucky, or had a really good reason??

 

... and maybe the guy didnt ask nicely .. he did seem like Mr. Grumphy about everything. The butter wasnt really butter, complained about everything during a perfectly nice dinner.
