Changing around room assignment

We are going on our first cruise. We are a family of 6 with two ocean view cabins. When I booked through Carnival I asked for specific people to be in specific rooms. The agent didn't put anyone in like I asked. In one room I wanted DH, oldest DD and DS. In the other I wanted me, youngest DD and middle DD. We put dh in one room and me in the other for camp carnival per-registration. The plan was to then switch DH and middle DD.

Anyway will they let us move people around between the two cabins when we board and fix the sign and sail cards?

Just go to the front desk when you board and they will re-issue the cards to match where you want to stay

Somebody from each cabin with a change has to go to Guest Services.
