Earliest Boarding Time for Majesty of the Seas Sailing?

Itinerary says boarding time is 1:30 pm, the ship is scheduled to leave FL at 4:30 pm.

 

Whats the earliest we can board? Our flight doesnt get in until a little before 9 am...

2 years ago we got to the port about 11 and were on by noon. (higher loyalty folks and suites boarded before we did)

As long as there is not a rare problem with the cruise ahead of you getting to port late, or not clearing customs on time, or norovirus.....

 

You can usually start checking in around 11am, and be enjoying lunch in the Windjammer before 12 noon.

 

By the time you get through the airport terminal, collect your luggage and catch a cab, you should be able to head straight over to the pier

You may also notice that the cruise documentation's wording about boarding changed. It now says "CHECK-IN BETWEEN 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM". Of course, the rest of the places on the site where it talks about boarding still says a later time, but at least they've updated it in the cruise docs.

I can confirm this too. Started the check in round 11 and were on board and drinking before noon.
