timetravellers Posted July 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2012 We have cabin number 7035 on Infinity next year. Have just been studying the deck plan and notice that this is an interconnecting cabin. Really concerned about noise from next door. Can anyone who has been in one of these cabins please advise whether this is an issue or whether we should be looking for a move?
sddsddean Posted July 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Afraid this really depends on your neighbours. We did a b2b on the Infinity in March and first cruise we heard nothing from next door (except when we chatted on the balcony) and 2nd cruise we heard a few 'arguments' and the lady's quite raucous laugh! Depends how much this sort of thing bothers you as to whether you move. Simon
timetravellers Posted July 7, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Problem is, the cruise is sold out but might ask our TA to watch out for another cabin. Thanks for the info.
Phxazzcruisers Posted July 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2012 It all depends on who is in the next room. We sometime can hear neighbors even when it is NOT a connecting room and sometime do not hear a peep when it has been a connecting room.
Trainer Posted July 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Why do you think this June 2013 cruise is sold out? There are cabins available on all the Infinity cruises to Alaska in al categories. It would be very unusual for a cruise to be sold out in Alaska this far ahead. There are so many to choose from it takes a while to be sold out.
