anyone sailing on the volendam? just checked the roll call area and there's nothing for august 1. seems dead or not as popular compared to zuiderdam or other hal alaska cruises

I don't know what it is about Alaska cruises, but most the roll calls are not very active. Seems like not many CCer's are doing these cruise. We only had a few on our Zuiderdam cruise in May. I think there were only 19 or so Mariners on board. Mostly there were Canadians and Australians, with most on their first cruise. TA's in other countries are really promoting Alaska cruise as a tie in with their other travel package groups. That is at least what I've noticed.
