Couple questions about the Suite Elite package and "coupon book"

First the Suite Elite package. I'm guessing that if you buy the double that means you get "for two" on things like the Cooking class, Wine tasting and drink cards. Also, it includes a pass to the Thermal Suites and hydro pool. Is that for the entire cruise or just once? We get two bottles of wine and two bottles of liquor, do they have you choose when you board? Do they provide mixers or do you have to purchase those seperately?

Second question: My booking came with two $450.00 coupon books. Has anyone else gotten these and what do they include? More curious than anything.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I was wondering if anyone had had the coupons and what they were for. Hope someone has gotten one.

Hi Rebel54. Yes, we did get a coupon book as a "bonus" from our travel agent on our May Veedam/Bermuda cruise. Various coupons for spa treatments, wine packages etc. Just my personal experience, but the coupon book was of no benefit to us. Oh, I did use one coupon at the casino...the house won $5, I lost $5 - but had it been the otherway around, I would have won $10. Bottom line, check the coupon book which should be in your cabin when you board. If you find any of benefit, please let me know :) Thanks, -S.

Thanks Rebel54. BTW, there was a coupon for a cup of coffee (large for the price of small, something like that). Also an Internet coupon - but the on board offer on the first day was greater than the coupon discount, so we didn't use the coupon. Basically, we found that the on-board offers were greater than the discount offered by the coupons, so you might want to check the daily program and compare the special offers for spa treatments/internet plans against the coupon offers. Regards, S.

The coupon booklet also has a free pinnacle grill dinner with the purchase of an admiral wine pack (trying to remember - I think it was 5 bottles), there's a couple of freebies - like an extra bingo card, and extra slot tournament, etc. (useful only if you want to do that of course).

There is usually a 10% of tuxedo rental and 10% off flower orders.

Depending upon your interests - there may be some benefits - worth taking a look at when you receive it. :)

What is the Suite Elite Package? I have heard of and investigated the Suite Amenities package and it does not include cooking classes, wine tastings or thermal spa amenities. Which ship is this offered on, and what is the cost? And what else is included?

Thanks.

This is what it says for the package:

With the Suite Elite Package you'll receive in-suite beverage setup with your choice of two bottles of wine and two bottles of your favorite liquor, a pass to access the Hydro Pool & Thermal Suite located in the Greenhouse Spa, a $50 beverage card, dinner for two at the Pinnacle Grill, a Culinary Arts Center Class, one Premium Wine Tasting led by the Cellar Master, an internet time package of 100 minutes, and evening truffles in your suite. A 15% service charge is included in the price of the item. You must be 21 years of age or older to order and receive alcoholic beverages. The price of the package applies to double occupancy on sailings up to 10 days on the following ships: Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Noordam, Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam.

Rebel, Thanks for the info. i like this pkg better than the Amenities one which includes monogrammed HAL robes (which we don't need) and unlimited laundry (which we do!). Since we are on the 24 day sailing, I guess that's why this one is not offered.

Again, THANKS!

Donna
