Invergordon tours assistance

Recommended Posts

There are a few guides about doing this by train to inverness and getting a tour from there.

You can DIY with car hire,

Must be pre booked only one supplier last time we looked with limited supply.

They do cruise terminal pickup/drop off very convenient.

Used them a few year back to drive over to the west coast and back.

there are also local tour compnaies that offer reasonable options.

google throws up the main one

Jacobite Loch Ness tours. We did it and LOVED IT!

For 29 pounds, there's a 3.5 hour tour that includes:

--Pick up in Invergordon on Bank Street. Drive 9 miles along Loch Ness

--Get on Jacobite Queen boat. Sail up Loch Ness for 30 minutes.

--Get off boat at Urquhart castle. Spend 1 hour at castle (admission included)

--Get back on van and travel down the road to Loch Ness Exhibition Centre (admission included) for 1 hour.

--Travel back down the Loch into Invergordon.

There are also cheaper, shorter Loch Ness tours through Jacobite which you can also book on their webpage:

-12.50 pounds for 1 hour.

-18.50 pounds for 2 hour.

-23 pounds for 3 hour.

....and so on.

Looking for options or helpful tips regarding tours from Invergordon. Looking for inexpensive tours of Loch Ness, in particular. Thanks for any advice.

We booked with Kevin and would most certainly recommend ' The Highland Experience Tour' It was one of the best tours I have ever had the pleasure of taking. He also has the one you requested, which incorporates Loch Ness, but as we didnt take that one can not comment except to say that if it is with Nigel he will make it an experience you will never forget, for the right reasons!

Enjoy whatever it is you decide to do :)
