Gluten-Celiac- food allergies on Solstice

Hello all,

does anybody know how Celebrity helps out guests with food allergies and how to go about in requesting assistance in this matter ie. prior to trip, upon arrival etc

Welcome to Cruise Critic .... I see you are a fairly new poster. One of the best features of this site is that you can search for previous posts and if you look for " "gluten free" and "celiac" you can find all the recent posts .... celebrity does a mostly exemplary job of helping you have a great cruise with foods you will enjoy and you will find lots of helpful advice in the posts.

A Quick search of this forum using "gluten free" pulled up the following relatively recent threads for several ships, including Solstice and her sistere ships - the services would be the same across the board. Hope these help! (and yes, while they all look like the same threads - they are all different as the came off the search page, so their regular title is buried. Trust me - they are each different and each offer great insights)

We traveled with a friend who is Gluten free. They took great care of her. Each night the Matre De would bring the menu for the next evening and allow her to pre-order whatever Gluten free dinner she wanted.

On our last Celebrity Cruise the MDR menus had icons on them one of which was for "Gluton Free" items which caught my eye since SIL and nephew have Celiac. Also in the past I have had my own food needs met by notifying Celebrity before the cruise and making contact with Matre'D or MDR Manager.

 

In my experience Celebrity will bend over backwards to meet your needs.
