Linda, are you going to tell the off ramp story?! icon_eek.gif Was it a motorcycle--or is that someone else's story?

On my last cruise I had an extremely embarrassing moment. While my friend and I were playing bingo I had to use the restroom. As I was walking up the aisle I tripped and fell sliding several feet with my arms stretched straight out in front of me. If that wasn't embarrassing enough... the bingo announcer yelled "touchdown!".

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, when I returned the announcer claimed my friend called out bingo on my card when it wasn't one and he made me get on stage wearing a viking like hat and dance a stupid duck dance thing...All I could think was thank God I don't know anybody here! icon_eek.gif

Mine is actually an almost embarrassing moment. I still cringe just thinking about it. To get to the ladies room from the lounge you had to walk thru the casino. I went to the ladies room, washed my hands, checked makeup, fluffed my hair and was walking out when for some reason I turned in front of the full length mirror. The back of my dress was tucked in my pantyhose and no underwear because it was a thin dress and I didn't want the panty lines. icon_eek.gif

I noticed the typo, but, as someone who at least THINKS he's a gentleman, assumed it was just that, a typo. (o.k., I did have a little laugh) You two are WICKED!!!! Keep it up!

Anyone ever have touble on the dance floor? I was doing the lambada (sp?) with a woman that I met at dancing lessons. And, yes, our dancing raised a few eyebrows. The shipped lurched suddenly, and we (very gracefully of course) ended up on the floor, me on top of her. Her husband and my partner burst out laughing- they said it looked choreographed and rather risque. I assured thenm it was the combination of vodka and the ship's movement. Boy, I can't wait to cruise again.

A dance story? Or tripping story?....I have one...on the Century in January...

I was in the Hemisphere Lounge...for any of you who have been and those who have not. Its DARK in the evenings with small lights around the floor where, if you are not looking, you don't see the step...UP or DOWN...to and from the dance floor back to the bar or to your seat.

Well, I am dancing and the song ended. I made it off the dance floor but then I missed the step UP...left ankle clipped...OUCH and right knee went DOWN icon_eek.gificon_frown.gif. I wasn't even buzzed...I was talking to the guy I had been dancing with...and missed the step..OUCH OUCH...It hurt in 3 spots..the knee, ankle...and the ego icon_rolleyes.gif

On our 2002 Millennium Cruise the Comedian used me in his second act of the cruise. He made fun of my karaoke performance and my fight with my husband in the Rendevous Lounge. Talk about embarssing. I threw a napkin at him up at the pool the next night and he said he wasn't talking about me - okay how many women that did Karaoke fought with their husband in the lounge on the one cruise?
