Coopbella Posted July 19, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2012 We just got back from a week on the Saphire Princess and they had Zumba six out of seven days, I believed. Fun! How was the weather for you?
Coopbella Posted July 21, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2012 The Saphire has just been renovated and was beautiful. My favorite spot was the Piazza. The staff was wonderful too. We felt pampered. We had a number of fabulous meals in the Savoy dining room. The head waiter, Edgar and the server, Rachel were so accomadating and fun. We only saw a large amount of mosquitoes near the Princess McKinley lodge by Byer lake. The staff said the mosquitoes were bad this year, but all in all we did not have a problem with them. About half the days were sunny and mild and the rest were overcast and two days were really cold! But we loved ever minute, no matter the weather! pmjnh Posted July 21, 2012 #10 Share Posted July 21, 2012 We were at Denali Wilderness Lodge visiting with friends the last few days and there were no mosquitos. The only Mosquitos we encountered we're at Wonder Lake in Denali, and they were not bad. We did wear head nets, however. $2 at Walmart fishing department. We were on the Coral Princess last week and no Zumba..I was bummed about that.
