Are Nalgene/Camelback like Water bottles allowed off of ship ?

Are camelback/nalgene types of water bottles allowed off of the ship to take on shore excursions? I was reading some posts about how a lot of food was discarded because people were trying to take food off the ship.

I am bringing my water bottles to use while on the ship and did not want to risk them getting discarded if we are not allowed to take them off of the ship.

Yes....you can take water off the ship. You may not be allowed to bring liquids IN the bottle back on with you, but they won't take the bottle....they'll just make you dump the liquid.....in case you''re trying to get alcohol back on!
