HoneymoonCruiser5 Posted August 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Doing the single digit dance...5 days! Just learned about Fare Viewer. How does it work? Help!
firefly333 Posted August 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2012 If you booked ES people use the link to check fares.. however you can check fares any site you want. No TA site can advertise a lower fare.. so I use a TA site. use whatever site works best for you.

Holders3 Posted August 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2012 You could do what I did. I checked the cruise rate for my room after I learned about Fairviewer and when it dropped I called the 800 number for Carnival just to inquire how it worked. Though I didn't book ES the rep offered me an upgrade equal to the price difference. It's worth a call. Maybe I'll be able to plan an ES next time. Hoping there's a next time
MuffyKismet Posted August 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 9, 2012 same here....I did not book ES but 2 X in one week I got upgrades!! We went from inside Upper deck all the way to inside Veranda deck on the Paradise (that is all the way up towards the front of the ship, 1 deck below the spa :) Super happy with that! :D And all because I checked fairview daily. No we would not be able to get any other upgrade unless the sold out suites opened up , ya never know, just keep watching!
BigDfromTN Posted August 9, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Doing the single digit dance...5 days! Just learned about Fare Viewer. How does it work? Help! First off... Look at your booking and get the cabin category you are booked in. ie: PT = porthole, 4a Inside Riviera, 6a Oceanview Riviera etc. On that booking look for the "Cruise Amount" for your cabin. this figure is without the taxes and fees. Compare above number with the fare viewer site for possible reductions. If you booked ES and find one. Fill out the form below. http://www.carnival.com/BonVoyage/requestforms/cclearlysaverform.aspx
