Cruise, J.D. Posted August 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Can someone who has sailed on the Conquest with a quad room confirm that the twin beds can be made into a king? We may to have book an extra person in our cabin next cruise, but don't want to lose the king bed. Thanks!
firefly333 Posted August 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2012 They can be made into a king. If you have two uppers, that means one bed will be in the open space between the bunks where ordinarily the ladder would be.. so they will have to step on your bed to get into the bunk or climb up from the rear. You dont say what the other two beds are .. so IM guessing. More information would help give you a better answer.
mcfam5 Posted August 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2012 We were in a quad occupancy balcony room on the Conquest last Thanksgiving. The set up is two twins that convert to a king and then the sofa (that makes in to a single bed) and a pull down bunk that hangs directly above the sofa. It is a very nice room set up! Enjoy the ship ~ she is a beauty! :)

Cruise, J.D. Posted August 14, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Probably looking at an inside cabin. I didn't realize the quad rooms were set up differently based on IS, OV, BL. Haven't booked yet. Thanks.

Paul Bogle Posted August 14, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 14, 2012 This is what they look like in a balcony cabin.
CarribeanDiva Posted August 14, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 14, 2012 OP, yes the above photo is exactly how an inside quad will look with the king bed on the Conquest. Ask the steward to put the upper bunks away during the day for more room. We do them all the time, but w/o the king bed. It makes for more floor space. Have a great cruise!
