cruiseluver323 Posted August 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2012 We will be driving up from the eastern shore of Maryland for our cruise leaving from New York in October. Our daughter will be dropping us off at the terminal. Hoe easy will this be? Any suggestions for us? We leave on a Saturday morning. She is also picking us up at ther terminal when we get back. Any helpful hints? We will be getting back on a Sunday morning.

njhorseman Posted August 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2012 Which terminal? New Jersey, Brooklyn, or Manhattan? OP's signature block shows they're on the Carnival Miracle. Carnival leaves from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. OP...the cruise terminal's motor vehicle entrance (regardless of whether the ship is docked at Pier 88, 90 or 92) is at 55th St. and 12th Ave. Just follow the signs and drive up the ramp. Your daughter will be able to drop you off at the entrance to your ship's pier. Pick up upon return is a bit more complicated because she won't be able to wait for you at the pier. She should plan to be in the general area of the cruise terminal, waiting on a nearby side street...she should be able to find street parking on a Sunday morning...then when you clear customs and immigration and are ready to exit the terminal you should call her and tell her to drive to the pier to pick you up.
