Recently returned from Celebrity Silhouette. What an amazing ship and staff. Cannot find a flaw anywhere.Internet was expensive but thats across the board on most cruise lines

Hi -just had to agree with you.We cruised from Venice to Rome on the Silhoutte in July and have to say the all the staff were amazing.

 

Going on the Connie in Oct and hopefully will have the same level of service.:)

We were on the cruise right after the OP. The party band was Sipra. One night we were in the Cafe al Bacio and heard Sipra playing "Faithfully" by Journey. The singer sounded very much like Steve Perry, which was a little unusual as Sipra's normal singer is female. Paul Baya (the cruise director) was singing with the band. He was very good.

Personally after several cruises, I am not a fan of mr Baya's style of presenting. He seemed enthusiastic during the tv show but in the theatre there was either a short speech or no intro at all, not as good as many prior CDs where they have had little comedy intros. In my honest opinion he just lacks personality.
