If I have a lanyard I would rather use, will they still punch a hole in my card? And this is going to get REALLY specific but is it a round punch or the oval ones?

Looking at the two in front of me, they are Round...

Yes they will punch your card. Just let them know you have your own lanyard. I usually bring my lanyard from a previous cruise with me.

I have had both round and oval punches, but mostly round.

I always take my own lanyard, I have made up a few with craft beads, that way depending on my mood, the season, or if it is near a holiday, I have a lanyard that I like. I have also had oval and round punches, both have worked with my key ring or clip.

I pack enough junk. I am not going to add a hole punch! :p

I use the lanyard I got in my bag from the Behind the Fun Tour. I like it because it isn't the stretchy thing they give you in the casino.

Since the clip is too wide for the little round hole, I simply take it with me, and whomever punches little round holes that overlap until it is wide enough to fit the clip.

On the Paradise last month it was oval... Probably depends on which hole punch they have on that ship at that time...

On The Liberty, they use round hole punches. You can have your S&S card punched at either the casino or the Guest Services desk, however, the hole punch at the casino makes a smaller hole. Depending on the size of the clip on your lanyard, you may want to go to Guest Services instead, since their punch makes a slightly larger hole. I would suggest taking something like an old business card and have it punched first to see if your lanyard's clip will fit the punched hole.
