Leaving for Alaksa July 3. Have some people still debating whether they are going. What is the latest they can book? Will the prices be higher or lower? Or should they just book now (45 days out) at about the same price?

Usually, after final payment is when Princess will run the 'flash promotions' if there are still many empty cabins. Waiting until the last possible moment could also keep your friends from joining you as sometimes these promotions are 'regional' and you may not even receive them in your area. You can check one day and see a lot of available cabins, the next day they will be all gone. SO, if they are interested in booking, I wouldn't wait too terribly long.

I think the very latest they can book is just a few days before sailing with the new security laws in place.

I received a flash promotion for this cruise from an online TA this weekend. Inside: $ 899 pp; Oceanview: $ 999 pp; Balcony: $ 1599 pp. Wish I could go.
