joeski27 Posted April 29, 2013 #4701 Share Posted April 29, 2013 LOL, I mean the cantaloup ones. The size you can just fit a spread hand around. :) (Oh my, this sounds so wrong haha).. Sounds like an appropriate size to me...any more than a handful is...um...nevermind ;) :D:D:D
SuiteCruiser Posted April 29, 2013 #4702 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Ok I kinda figured. Which leads me to my next question...are those large table configurations going to stay that way, or would they be setting them up based on the size of the party? If it's like Epic, the tables stay the same and you sit with strangers. It's the only time it happens, and you're too busy watching to chat, so it's not so bad. Which leads me to my next question...are those large table configurations going to stay that way, or would they be setting them up based on the size of the party? No, they leave them like that. It's basically "community seating" where you sit with others (same with those back booths by the way- I think they seat six or eight in those). They fill the place up. It doesn't look like they offer balcony seating like the Epic either (which was one long "counter" all around the perimeter of the area above the stage in the center). Shame, as it was the only place I could comfortably sit (neck issue keeps me from looking upwards for long periods). Good thing I only reserved for hubby and daughter for our sailing! Maryfrei Posted April 29, 2013 #4705 Share Posted April 29, 2013 http://www.flickr.com/photos/93640594@N02/ Added some pictures, disabled aft balcony 12910 (and one of the neighbouring balcony, shot around the divider, 12310?). Also take notice; inside 12681 is listed as interconnecting with 12683 but isn't and is with 12677! Don't know if that's with every inside but worth a double check! Wow! Any chance of getting a shot of the aft balconies on 11?
gambee Posted April 29, 2013 #4706 Share Posted April 29, 2013 That 12 balcony is exactly what I expected to see, the only thing it's missing is a couple lounges. Thank you so much for those pics :)
tel2 Posted April 29, 2013 #4707 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Someone previously posted that at Vibe, the Weekly Cabana rental was $299 (and included $100 food and bev credit). If anyone rents one or has a minute to ask, I'd like to know whether the food/bev credit has to be consumed while in Vibe (ugh! $100 in alcohol????), or whether it can be used anywhere on ship (i.e., specialty restaurants....) youngestof9 Posted April 29, 2013 #4708 Share Posted April 29, 2013 can anyone confirm if the aft Balcony disabled rooms (11914 or 12910) only fit 2? I'm trying to book that for my MIL and 2 kids and the HC room would be so much better for her (mobility issues and the handicapped bathroom is a huge plus for her), but they said it only accommodates 2. Anyone on board willing to check that out?

Thats not a balcony its more like its own deck. WOW I am changing 2 cabins for a sailing next year to S6's. I need 2 on the same floor. (12 has 1 cabin gone) trying to decide between deck 11 and 9 (biggest). I want 9 but I am a little concerned about the noise from below and the view may be hindered by the roof of deck 8. Any insight would be great!

Great pics and we sincerely appreciate them! What's the deal with the balconies being closed? Don't know what the "sheets" are covering on the port side lower decks, but I was specifically looking at the Haven suites on decks 15 and 16.. Looks like there are no dividers up yet between balconies (hard to tell) and deck 16 starboard looks like the balconies are roped off?? Not finished yet? ibcnusoon Posted April 29, 2013 #4717 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Cannot believe I have this HUGE balcony and 2 small chairs and a teeny tiny table. Would it be out of the question to bring along my own lounge chair??

Would it be out of the question to bring along my own lounge chair?? I've been known, in similar circumstances, to go and commandeer loungers from the upper decks. I've done this a couple of times on the second day (when requests to our cabin steward or guest services fell on deaf ears) and never has anyone uttered a word as I make my way through the halls... :D Tom

I just saw your post with the pics (maybe I should pay attention LOL). So we have 11910 and 11912 booked for 2014 - we'll stick with them, although I was hoping to get the HC one for my MIL. But she'll have my 2 kids in her room, so that won't work. Thank you so much!

I'd love to see a particular variant of BJ show up somewhere at sea: Blackjack Switch ! It's spread into many land based casinos over the last few years. Hopefully the Breakaway casino will not be as smoky as on the Epic, and I don't think they'll go the Celebrity route (100% smoke free) for many years. Would it be out of the question to bring along my own lounge chair?? That seems to be the growing theme with every single larger balcony we've seen on here. I have absolutely no idea why NCL put the same set of tiny furniture in the larger balconies as they did in the shoebox-sized "balconettes" (aka standard balconies). I mean there's no reason that they shouldn't have at least one lounger in the larger balconies by default. As I've said on here a few times already, I'll be asking for one on day one .
