DanJ Posted October 3, 2012 #28 Share Posted October 3, 2012 We have booked a room on the Panorama deck on the Dream which is one of those decks near the top of the ship too. Does anyone know if that would entitle us to VIP boarding? We are going to be there stupid early regardless... but just curious if we would end up with the special boarding again? No, deck doesn't mean anything for VIP boarding in this case (not really sure why they said it did with Fascination, but I don't pay attention to those ships). It's whether you have a suite, are platinum or higher past guest status, or purchase the faster to the fun program on ships that have it.

Unfortunately, unless your docs say VIP, you aren't entitled to VIP boarding. There are regular balcony cabins, spa balcony cabins and a couple of suites on Panorama deck. If you are in a suite, your docs will say VIP, otherwise, you will board with the regular passengers. I don't know anything about your previous cruise and why someone was giving you VIP boarding if you weren't in a suite, but that was good for you! ScootsMom Posted October 4, 2012 #30 Share Posted October 4, 2012 If you are driving in the day of your cruise you may want to take a look at this site: www.parkcruise.com for another parking option. I have friends that have used them and they were satisfied with the service and of course the rate compared to port parking rates. You can compare it to Port parking - their rate includes:eek: arrival and departure day. www.portcanaveral.com
iott family Posted October 4, 2012 #31 Share Posted October 4, 2012 No it's not that and no reason to be snarky - just pointing out the differenes between CCL and NCL Why bother pointing out the differences on an obviously Carnival based question if you are NOT trying to be snarky yourself
