Waterproof Camcorder recommendation please

Hi gang, my Sanyo Xacti VPC_CA9 seems to have crapped out on me after about a year and a half. Anyone have any recommendations for a replacement Waterproof camcorder?

I don't recall seeing too many waterproof camcorders. I think the only thing that might available these days is the GoPro Hero 2.

 

Perhaps a compact camera with video mode might be an alternative.

IMHO todays P&S waterproof almost all do 720 if not 1080 so probably more than good enough for vacation vidoes and snapshots.

I would recomend the Sealife DC 1400.

 

 

I own the older DC 1200 that is on sale for $378 @ Leisurepro. They are

compact when removed from their waterproof case (200'). They are very

durable (I still use my 6 year old DC 600 ) and a great company to deal with.
