seafun Posted September 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2012 I will be returning to the U.S. via Hong Kong and Seoul airports. Do either of them have decent or better gift selections? How are prices? Is one noticeably better than the other? I will have had a 40 pound, 1 suitcase plus small carry on limit up to Hong Kong, so I plan lots of shopping there. :) Just wondered if any of you have advice for easy to transport gifts from either of those airports? Thanks!
kuldalai Posted September 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2012 Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island is probably the World's biggest and greatest Shopping Mall . It is so big you have difficulty finding your departure gate, allow plenty of time as the distances to gates are huge albeit there are travellators and even underground driverless trains to get you there . trabeler Posted September 2, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2012 Hong Kong airport has far more shopping options than Incheon airport in Seoul. The Seoul airport has some Korean items and typical crafts that you'd find in the city markets, all at much higher than city prices.
