Did Princess remodel their FLL port building?

I thought I had read it somewhere on this board that Princess was remodeling their Fort Lauderdale port building. We will be cruising this fall on the Emerald Princess and are hoping this is true.....

I recall that ships weren't docking there in the spring due to renovations, but I never heard if anyone has seen it since it was finished...or even if it is finished. I always watched the webcams there when Princess ships are in port, but haven't checked in lately. I would think they'd want it done by the time the ships return this year.

When we left from Fort Lauderdale in late April, we used Terminal 4, instead of the usual Terminal 2. I had read at the time that Terminal 2 was receiving an extensive remodeling. I would think it would be ready when Princess ships return in the fall.

Terminals 2, 19, 21 and 26 began renovation April 2012 with completion dates from mid- December 2012 through early June 2013. They each will have 2 passenger loading bridges.

Thanks for the heads up; however, I'm sorry to hear that the Princess buildings at the various piers won't be finished until December at the earliest (our Emerald Princess cruise departs Port Everglads mid-November this year). Darn!
